Participation in the ABH Landowner Program is free. There are no sign-up fees, service charges, or ongoing costs. Landholders receive a per-kilogram royalty for animals harvested through the program.
Every animal harvested under the program is linked to its property of origin and tracked through the harvesting and processing system. This ensures transparency, compliance, and accountability from property to final product.
ABH operates a mobile processing facility that can be deployed close to where invasive species are managed. This reduces transport and improves efficiency.
All activities are carried out within Australia’s food safety, biosecurity, and harvesting frameworks. Harvesting is performed by commercially licensed professional harvesters, and all product is processed through regulated systems.
The program can manage multiple invasive and overabundant species including kangaroos, deer, pigs, goats, and rabbits. This ensures animals are fully utilised and allows properties to manage different species through one compliant program.
